Dear Neighbor,

Thank you for your interest in my campaign for the Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) Trustee Area 5 position.  The Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing the Superintendent and is your elected voice in ensuring an optimally functioning school district.  Our school district is a critical asset to all Pleasanton residents and those we elect should be best equipped to manage both today and tomorrow's student needs.  I strongly believe I have both the business and City experience to really make a big difference and can manage across the mutual interests of students, parents, teachers and administrators for the best possible outcomes.

I will always strive to ensure school board priorities are anchored on the following key tenets:

• What's best for our students
• Fiscal responsibility for our residents
• Retaining our best & brightest teachers
• School safety both inside and outside
• Quality school programs
• Facility maintenance and upgrades
• Timely 2-way communications with students and parents
